Formed by the Canadian government in 2007, the Project Management Association of Canada (PMAC-AGPC) is Canada’s official project management certification and standards-setting body. It serves the needs and demands of the dynamic project management profession that is experiencing significant growth in a bilingual country. PMAC-AGPC is committed to exploring a broader model of project management – one that includes the development of technical, behavioural, and contextual competence elements. It advocates a broad definition of project success to multiple and varied industries.
With members across Canada and in seven countries globally, PMAC-AGPC is Canada’s official delegate in the International Project Management Association (IPMA), where it provides this international body with a unique Canadian voice.
